Did you Know? According to the EPA, the energy saved from recycling just one aluminum drink can is enough to power a 100-watt bulb for 20 hours or a TV for 2 hours.
Please help save energy by participating in the friendly competition between the grade levels to see who can recycle the most during lunch. The competition will start Monday, March 16th. There will be recycling bins in the cafeteria designated for each grade level. There will be a video on Monday, March 16th that the morning news crew will play to refresh your memory on what can/can't be recycled.

Personal Pathways to success.
The South Carolina Education and Economic Development Act gives students the opportunity to attend high schools that offer the career cluster of their choice. Charleston County School District promotes these opportunities through the Pathways Magnet Program. Current eighth graders, who will be promoted to the ninth grade, and current ninth grade students can transfer to a high school within their "Pathway Zone" that offers their career cluster if that cluster is not offered in their neighborhood high school.
