Highlights of the report:
CE Williams South's School Structure includes Core content teachers arranged in interdisciplinary teams that include a math, science, social studies, and English/Language Arts teacher. Scholars attend each of these classes daily, as well as two Encore classes.
Using the teaming structure is developmentally responsive for the middle level adolsecent. It provides greater freedom than the traditional elementary model while still creating a sense of a smaller community in a larger setting.
- CE Williams South offers credit courses in Algebra I, English I, Spanish I, and Career and Technical Education (CTE)
- Encore courses include Band, Strings/Orchestra, Chorus, Visual Arts, Spanish, Computer Discoveries, Creative Writing, Entrepreneurship, PE, and Health
PBIS is the framework we use to reinforce positive behaviors. Using the acronym P.R.I.D.E., we communicate expectations for the school environment. In addition, incentives for showing Wolverine P.R.I.D.E are given regularly.
