Ms. Kottke's Social Studies Classes

Welcome to 6th grade! I'm so excited to delve into ancient history with you. We will be learning about history through the study of people and events from earliest man to the era of European exploration. This course focuses on the importance of geography, economics, and government in the development of the human story, including the conflicts and accomplishments of the people and their roles in developing the social, economic, and political structures of the major civilizations. You will be working collaboratively with your peers, as well as independently. I am here to help you every step of the way. I am available during lunch on Monday and Wednesdays for extended learning time, as well as Wednesday afternoon for after school tutoring from 2:45-3:30.
